Where trust once shone so pure and brightly, in the shadows left by fading light, I meander among the whispers of lies.

beneath a false and arrogant sky.

Fake friends' attractiveness deteriorates and their hearts grow icy, like flowers with uncounted petals.

They tell lies with sweet words, and their laughter hides their grief.

They arrive smiling but conceal their lies, and their bond is frail and fragile.

Their allegiance wanes like changing sands.

leaving behind a pervasive void.

They assemble close together, their motives hidden, and their emotions vulnerable like mirrors.

Be wary of hollow laughing since it reveals the person's true colours behind the eyes.

They claim to be faithful, yet their deeds betray them, leaving scars that won't heal.

They go in the dark, leaving just loneliness and bitter tears behind.

However, a lesson arises from the suffering, and a wiser heart breaks through the darkness.

False friends may come and go, but we learn the value of real friendship.

Let such temperamental spirits leave because strength emerges in their absence.

With wide eyes, we discover the True Friends who brighten even our darkest days.

I used the same exact picture for something I wrote awhile back. Good choice.
