surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Angels and Demons
It starts with a thought an idea in our minds about what happens when we have left this world behind. Do we ascend to the gates of gold or do we climb down to the stories untold, are we destined for heaven or hell no one knows but have to wait to see what unfolds. We long to reach far above the heavens to live in paradise with all those who have gone before us but the reality of it all is not all of us make it some of us fall, we are pinned with the stone of our mistakes for most of us pray to be something great but fall short due to misguidance in our past and let the snake show you wrath. for the others who live so pure when you get there the doors will slowly open showing you everything for you have been chosen.
