surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Eve of the Dream
Once upon a dream...I walked in the light of the world. Seeking nothing, and loving all. In everything, thee was the joy of love, the sound of peace, the tranquility of triumph. As a walked upon the path, of the Sun, I knew only my purpose. A purpose of becoming the very light I walked in. As I passed the waning branches of even the most desolate of things, I spoke, and they sprang to life, speaking back with abundance and life. When I began, I was the servant of hope...the patriarch of faith. In the wisdom of the Worlds, I was there to guide. When I began, I was all, and all was I. When I began...I spoke hello.
