performance poetry
Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
Home Abandoned
Old rugs and frayed ends. Broken glass and forgotten times. Empty cupboards and cobwebbed corners. The cracked floorboards senescence. The most astounding pendent hanging above, dust-covered; derelict. The presence of the past still lingering in the now uninhabitable infinite. The long grass, encompassing, portraying the lost to the living.

The Kiss of Death
The Kiss of Death. Her beauty and grace covered by black lace. Her vibrant red lips shine with snake venom to pierce your soul with its icy cold bullet that carries through your bones. She whispers ever so softly the words of death's song which rings with an echo throughout your eardrums “Are you ready to fly?”

Mount Charleston Secrets
We reside on a planet of habitual control..So I try to stay in my truest habitat. Being present in nature is a peace loving practice and will always put you in alignment if you allow yourself to be quiet enough to receive. There is this perfect balance of coexistence. If only we could coexist the way the trees do amongst so many aesthetic differences. I felt the calm wave of the mountains and tapped in to the messages gifted to me. She told me to slow down, be patient with myself and the divine timing that exists everywhere in the universe. Learn to appreciate and love where you are. BE present right now is the only moment we’ll ever have. Always LEAN into uncertainty with joy and excitement. This is where creation derives. Live in limbo, but do not vacillate, yet choose wisely and always follow your higher inner guidance. We come to Earth ultimately to learn and most of us spend our lives scared of the unknown and avoiding lessons trying to sit comfortable. Don’t be stagnate when you are a life force on a planet that is life. Step back from your emotions and thoughts and figure out how to decipher through the voice of soul and the voice of ego. The greatest deception is the doubt we create internally. Align your inner dialogue with that of your soul and watch magic happen.
