performance poetry
Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
Death Is No Intruder
The Earth spins round and round, faster than light and faster than sound. The thing that you lost first had to be found. Whether your heads in the clouds or your feet on the ground, you get to choose when you wear the crown. Swim with it on, they’ll all be astound but only because most of us drown. But where are we swimming? Is it to a new town? Just another up to come crashing back down? Do we fake all our smiles to protect our frowns?
