performance poetry
Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
Shine
Liquid sunrise trickles into the heart of Mother Earth, as all of the lovely little things roll about in silken golden ribbons, so sure of eternal life. Too soon a velvety twilight replaces the glittering day, and all that is left is the comfort of a new light taking shape.

Doctor
You like to watch Grey’s Anatomy and play Doctor, think you gone be leavin' a mark. I’m just kicked back at the crib, healing w/ the patience for you to come save MY heart.. I'm not too far. A hop, a skip, and jumper cables gone kick start my nerves that I thought was away, for the next woman. You got that next seat in line, but the entry fee the same, I can’t go through that bull shit again. Hands up, finger pointed at you, bullets of blame, man I can’t fathom.
