The Beauty of Nature
This poem is brought to you by all the times I spend in nature sitting by the water, every footprint I left, and every photo I took. What is the beauty of nature? Emerson says that nature is beautiful because it is alive, moving, reproductive. In nature we observe growth and development in living things, contrasted with the static or deteriorating state of the vast majority of that which is man-made. What can you say about the beauty of nature? "In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful." "Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts." ... “If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.” What are the three aspects of the beauty of nature? Emerson now outlines three main points concerning our use of nature's beauty: its medicinal qualities, its spiritual elements, and its intellectual properties. Nature, he says, has medicinal and restorative powers. What is nature in simple words? The words nature and natural are used for all the things that are normally not made by humans. Things like weather, organisms, landforms, celestial bodies and much more are part of nature. Scientists study the way the parts of nature work. Nature is often seen by humans as natural resources. Why is nature so important to humans? Nature performs major miracles for us every day – from giving us great views and helping to prevent floods to regulating the weather and keeping us supplied with clean water, fresh air and plentiful food. Why do I feel connected to nature? Recent research has found that nature exposure (and feeling connected to nature at a trait level) provides many benefits to humans such as well-being. Nature connectedness (as a construct) is also known as nature relatedness, connectivity with nature, emotional affinity toward nature, or inclusion of nature in self. How are humans and nature connected? This term is defined as humans' innate need to affiliate with other life such as plants and animals. This essentially means that humans have a desire to be near nature. This built in desire may be the result of spending the majority of our evolutionary history (over 99%) closely connected to nature.
