Light Feels Like A Million Miles Away
Sometimes I feel like the light is a million miles away. It tempts my heart. An embrace between moments beguiles my mind. The heart knows the light is everywhere, framing itself in varying degrees of radiance. The mind is easily fooled, viewing a portrait of black leaves and grey clouds yet ignoring the gentle wind touching the structures. It too often forgets the subtle layers of light buried inside the darkest corners of the soul. Once the mind remembers truth, it returns to the spirit of trust.
