love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Love in Both Spectrums
Black seeds, black trees, and even blacker roots. Who knew that having melanin would leave you labeled as forbidden fruit, the intoxicating nectar of life enriched in the leaves of your tree, when looking at yourself what do you see? Those repetitive rhythmic vibrations that shutter the pavement every time you walk right down to the mellow tone that soothes the ears as you talk, the history enriched hair that drapes your vibrant colored flesh, wrapped in scars, smothered in strength, oh melanated one, how did you forget? To breathe, to see, to live, to be? Every time you step outside the sun and your skin make love, the trees wave to you, the birds sing for you, even the sky honors you.

The Fallen Dream
From lies told, mistrust and betrayal, sorrow faded away when an image popped up in my timeline. A poem sprouted… This whole idea started with three things.. one someone lied to me very badly and ended up with another man. Then another person lied to me about the place that person lives. Then I saw this picture on VK. There you go... I got all the ingredients to write.

Words to Paper, and the Value of Expressing Emotion
In the serene quiet, I sat down; the vivid thought of you obscured by nothing else; And I thought… Let me write words to be immortalized in ink, engendered from the heart, inspired by deep feelings for a loved one.
