love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
L.S.D.
Love. Sex.. Drugs… Their love was toxic, vile, and distasteful to watch. At least that’s what all their friends and family said. They were both beautiful people, with a dark past, and tainted ways. Family would say their weakness grew when their tainted ways became one and the same. You see when together they were sloppy. A loose mess, like a child turning twenty-one. She hung off his shoulders all her words seemed slurred, while he waved guns in the air asking whose turn.

On the Subject of Love
It's on days like today that make me wonder why we suffer through love. Love, is nothing but misery. Sweet misery. They say misery loves company, and that is true. Why do we insist on being miserable? Love, we convince ourselves that love is possible. That we can allow another human being in to love us. however, how can expect someone to love us when we can't even love ourselves. So, on the subject of love, it is misery, And we love to be miserable.

To You, My Dear Darling, An Inspiration
I've written this poem for all of the friends in my life who have supported me in some way or another. You've all inspired me and have taught me priceless lessons about friendship, heartbreak, and finding the beauty in the little things. This is also for anyone who is feeling down, not feeling like themselves or not feeling worthy.
