In the corners of my mind, dark shadows creep, Memories that haunt me, nights filled with no sleep. The scars etched upon my heart, a silent strife, In this confessional poem, I seek a new life. Each line I confess, a piece of my truth, A cathartic release, like a phoenix from the soot. The weight of my sorrows, I cannot deny, But through these words, my spirit learns to fly.
