I don't know how to swim

feelings overflow

pouring in

over me

flowing through my mind

waves crashing against my heart

all the things you said

and all the things I couldn't

lost memories

keep overflowing

the waters getting deeper

like when you said you'd never leave

why couldn't I see through that lie

you left me here, in this water

you knew I don't know how to swim

trapped in my thoughts

tears keep coming down

the water is over my head now

I don't know how to swim.
