Public Announcement: How to Make Chicken Noodle Soup
Please be advised that the most important ingredient in chicken noodle soup is the broth.
Chicken broth is made from fresh chicken meat, preferably with the bones still intact.
To begin, proceed to the chicken coop and select a chicken suitable for soup preparation.
At this stage, all emotions must be put aside.
Any feelings of attachment to the bird must be removed.
Prepare a sharp axe.
Roll up your sleeves.
Catch the chicken.
The recommended method is to hold the chicken by its legs.
This prevents escaping and resistance.
And, most importantly, it prevents injury to the handler.
Locate a hard surface.
Place the chicken’s head on it.
Strength will be required.
The chicken may attempt to fight for its life.
When your footing is stable, press the bird firmly against the surface with one arm.
Use the second arm to hold the axe.
Aiming is important.
Lift the arm holding the axe and aim for the chicken’s neck.
Then strike.
Accuracy is essential.
If the strike is missed, the bird will be injured while still alive.
If the strike is successful, the head and neck will separate from the body.
After the chicken is killed, allow the blood to drain from the body.
Next, prepare a large amount of hot water.
Submerge the dead bird in the water.
This will assist in removing the feathers.
Once the feathers are removed, the chicken is ready for food preparation.
Cut the body into pieces.
Separate the wings, thighs, and legs.
Select the parts intended for broth.
Wash them thoroughly.
Cover them with clean water and bring them to a boil.
Allow the chicken to cook for one to two hours.
Check the meat for tenderness.
When the meat begins to separate from the bones, add salt and peeled onions for flavor.
Please note:
While the chicken is boiling, the noodles should be prepared.
To make noodles, combine wheat flour, water, salt, and eggs.
The eggs may come from the chicken you killed.
Final steps:
Check the chicken meat for readiness.
If it chews easily, it is fully cooked.
Taste the broth and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Add the freshly made noodles.
Bring the soup to a boil.
Add spices according to preference.
Turn off the stove.
The soup is complete.
Consumption may proceed.
