Sweet tea
By the back porch
Sunset breaking
Fire red sky
Gives way to
A dark and
Dreamless night

Forgets to beat
When your hand
Brushes mine
Fingers intertwined
Shadows dancing
In the candlelight

Anticipation
A lover's kiss
Passion rising
In your embrace
Underneath
The moonlit sky

I hope that you enjoyed this poem. I wrote this poem some time ago and just getting around to sharing it. I have been sketching little cities for my grandaughter to color and she is having fun hanging out in my office while I work. I hope you enjoy our artwork.
