Sweet Summer Symphony

"An Ode to the Beauty and Bliss of Summertime

By Muhammad SameePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Softly sings summer's sweetest song,

Swaying swaylessly, smooth and strong,

Singing sunflowers stretch up high,

Savoring sunshine in the sky.

Scarlet strawberries, sweet and sound,

Scattered 'cross the sandy ground,

Sprinkled sugar, sweet to taste,

Sumptuous sweetness, no time to waste.

Soothing streams, serene and still,

Secretly shimmering, soft and chill,

Sullen shadows start to slide,

Silent stars shining side by side.

Sapphire sky, serene and clear,

Sultry summer, finally here,

Senses soaring, free and light,

Splendid symphony, pure delight.

Seemingly endless summer days,

Satisfying in so many ways,

Simple pleasures, small and sweet,

Savoring moments, oh so fleet.
