Surrendering To The Universe
Create space for what we want to come to us, and focus on the positives
You are a Badass Deck, by Jen Sincero — It’s time to get mighty clear about what makes you happy and what makes you feel the most alive, and then create it instead of pretending you can’t have it.
The cards in this deck were created from a book You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life.
Start living an awesome life
is it really that simple
I should have married a wife
with a cute dimple
Authors note: I am practicing my dodoitsu poetry
REMEMBER TO SURRENDER - When we want something so, so badly and are working tirelessly to get it, if we don't surrender, we end up pushing it away instead. There comes a point where we need to hand the job over to The Universe. This doesn't mean that we give up or discontinue taking action. This means we let go energetically, release our kung fu grip and create some space for what we want to come to us. Your faith in The Universe must be stronger than your fear of not getting what you want. Jen Sincero
kung fu grip, do not know it
do not know that when I sit
stuck and not moving I have it
it's crazy to know
~
give it to the universe
when working on this new verse
even now and don't be terse
yes, it could be worse
~
dodoitsu's do not rhyme
i am rhyming just this time
it probably won't be just
my heart says I must
~
i am a such rhyming fool
and when swimming in the pool
well, that line was just to rhyme
can I say this time
~
publishing a book real soon
well, probably not by noon
but within a year or so
it is time to go
We must focus on the positive instead of the list of negatives we've collected over time, and keep that focus regardless of what flies in our faces. Jen Sincero
addiction demands we stay
negative, so turn that frown
comments and mood upside down
love that idea
~
when i get negative i
maybe need to laugh or cry
sometimes singing will work out
or a gym workout
~
i like to call my sponsor
when some support is needed
like a happy bird i soar
with the talk I need
~
smudge first thing in morning
make a gratitude checklist
work out, exercise, walking
thank Creator/God
~
staying in the present day
is so important today
living a day at a time
time to end this rhyme

Lol, I'm a non-rhyming fool! All the best for publishing your book!
Good work on all those poems. Liked them all and to the point.
