“I Surrender” by Hillsong - Cover by Rowan Finley

Surrendering is a scary bridge to cross,

weighty worries in waters are hard to toss.

But you’ll become so uninhibited,

when you let go of that stressful situation.

You’ll discern such fresh energy,

and heart-pulsing creativity,

when you surrender your family and friends who’ve let you down,

and you’ll listen to your surrounding’s new sound.

You’ll relish light anew,

and make a new friend or two.

You’ll treat others with deeper respect,

feeling maturity emerging as you reflect.

So, let go.

Surrendering is not giving up,

it’s knowing when to let someone Higher step in.

Surrendering is not giving up, it’s knowing when to let someone Higher step in." The most beautiful and wholesome definition of surrendering 🤝💖 Also, this cover is ethereal... The notes of the piano are soothing. PS: You look like a father in this one; A mature person.

This is very true and so on point. So many people stagnate in sadness and negativity, knowing that it’s disfiguring them, but they just can’t let go and step onto fresh water. Letting go requires trust, but is truly transformative. ❤️😊
