Did it all,
In the intensity and in the mildness.
Surrendered to it I aimed
Take the blame for it, I did not
Rowed in the storms and in the sunshine.
Acted like it didn't matter
Cold heart
Tough like steel I wanted to feel.
In the end I realised,
Only in the end did I truly see that,
Nothing could help, if I didn't allow myself to surrender to the pain that got me there in the first place.
