Sunshine and limerence
the light has gone out of my life
By Daniel KPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Beaming yellow,
your radiance is hard to ignore,
indifferent to my opinion of you,
you bless the world as I sometimes
ignore just how special you are,
complain that you’re too hot,
forgetting the days I needed your warmth
perhaps at my core, I envy your strength
and how you rise and set
just fine without me,
the days I run from you
plants turn toward you
and it made me wonder
what it would feel like
to be so needed
About the Creator
Daniel K
I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
