Sailor's Warning

When sirens call, they say

‘Go home, the night is full of dread’

To linger out at all past that

Could ensure your death.

For mighty gales and swelling seas,

Which hide leviathans deep,

Control the sentence of life and

Time. ‘Parole would be too easy.’

But whisper to yourself,

‘I’m safe

And loved,’ so you are steeled.

Because the night will come despite,

So we face it or face ruin.

Red sky at night, sailor delight is the saying you captured - beware Mother Nature's storms, we can't control them!!
