The sunny shine, rains sunny lies,
And never a sunny day,
This wet Sun, not a cloud outside
I say, I trust, it must be Opposite Day
For there must be reason, I must wonder
How the sky, an upside tundra, howl thunder
And gravity is brief, now I float in space
There is somehow levity in grief, for my heart does not race
These things are strange, strange are things these
That tundras fill the skies, and skies fill the seas
And what woe means, means less entirely
For rain is sunny, and sunny rain, does so remarkably
But how these things come to be I am not one who can say
It must be a special day, a day of opposites, today
