Sunlight Revelations

Light Breaks the Water

By Theresa Marie CainPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

My eyes close as sunshine glides between oxygen filled spaces

The sound of sea foam and waves crashing

Basking under sun drenched sky the water glistens in its own meditation

I join in

This is my calm place

The sun breathes across my skin

Liquid luxury bathed in molten rays

I can lay here forever

Shimmery prisms sprinkle my flesh like candy crystals

My heart beats at a gentler pace

Clear, cool droplets trickle, meander down

Rivulets cascading through a path of soft hairs smoothed by sun-drenched misty drizzles

Glowing dewdrops of divine design, caress the brownness of sun kissed caramel

Salty warmth crystalized on an island of glass reflective paradise

In the beauty of this ardent, blazing star's sultry gaze I am reminded

I am alive

About the Creator

I am a writer. At the heart of every creative endeavor I am a writer. Putting nomenclature to my pain, rage and shame. Cognominating (look it up-I did) every pleasure, peace and release. I am a creative. I am a writer.
