Sunlight I See

Even in darkness

By H.O.R.U.S Published 5 years ago 1 min read
My Destiny 2 See

The sunlight I see will keep my soul strong

I see sunlight, and I use that to keep my soul warm

Even thought I am in a swarm

cause people pass by me like I aint got no arms

I reach for hugs, people give me shoulder shrugs

I am not a thug, I need those hugs

All I needed was a dub, but people said ugh

Guess what its all love

I know my blessing are gonna come from above

The sunlight I see will still let me be

Even in a storm, I will still be strong

Even if I never get a chick like Nia Long

Don’t matter if y’all make me feel like I belong

Even if I never drive in a foreign

as long as I can let this sunlight pour in

Even if I never get to be flown in

I’m using this sunlight to give me tough skin

Some people mind be kind of thin

Some forget they have Melanin

Man if they would just let this sunlight flowed in

We all can use it to keep our souls warm
