I drew a sunflower
On his back--
Petals
The size of my fists.
Yellow
Orange
With a hint of red
While he lay
Sleeping
Under my thighs.
I drew a sunflower
On his back --
Stems as thick as fights.
Blue
Black
With hints of red
To drown inside
A place
Where fears reside.
A Sunflower!
A Sunflower!
In the night's bed
Surendering
Shedding
Things unsaid.
Like sinking
Memories
Upon a veil
I give to you my
My sins to fare.
Oh Sunflower!
Sunflower!
Hold a'breach.
Sunflower
Sunflower
Orange and Green.
Stay awhile
Please stay
With me
I'm dying
Like you
Eventully.
And like a tender hymn
You call
To my gentle pen
That falls
Oh Sunflower,
Sunflower,
The light is near
Don't be afeared
Don't disappear.
Sunflower!
Sunflower!
Fading fast
Sunflower!
Sunflower!
You're bleeding
Passed.
Your colors smeared
By eyes of time
Washed away
From these tears of mine.
Sunflower
Sunflower
Orange and Green
Sunflower
Sunflower
.......................
On his back
I drew while sleeping
A beautiful flower
To keep from speaking.
But in that darkness
I did find
A shouting voice within the cries:
"Tonight
Tonight
I won't die...
For I'm a Sunflower
Locked inside."

Red sunflowers are a lovely variety of the customary sunflower, known for their striking blood red tones and eye-getting excellence. While not too known as their yellow partners, red sunflowers are turning out to be progressively famous among grounds-keepers and botanical devotees the same.
