Soft music that brings along your bright glows,

Hands held tightly, my dear love for the moment,

Mighty stars of the heavens stare down on us as we stumble through many shows.

Within the pools of your eyes, lost in midsummers hypnotic trance,

A world around us not seen or heard, time standing still,

Your magic brings us to song and we dance.

Walks of our youthful bodies,

Annoying those doomed to see,

To all others I was gone, giving self unto thee.

Your swaying, your smile, your loving hand unto me,

Summer heat, fireworks, time spent, a world not around us.

Time passes by, the years tear us asunder,

leaving lovers of time with only one wonder,

could not time have stood still, keeping us in our summer of we.
