Start Memories of Summer swell my brain as I remember all the fun,

I remember laying on the deck of the boat.

Soaked in coconut scented tanning lotion sweltering in the sun,

Then I dive in the crisp cool lake, lay on my back and begin to float.

Those smells from being there were so invigorating!

I remember it like it was yesterday.

I remember it feeling so exhilarating!

It was always the perfect getaway.

Never any stress or problems or worries,

It was an escape from reality.

Never gave to rush or be in any sort of hurry.

It was almost like being in some sort of fantasy.

I will never forget those special times that we had.

It reminds me of how much I truly miss my dad!
