Sugar Plum

When I see you

with my own

two cerulean eyes,

my mouth begins

to water

incessantly.

When I talk to you,

about all these

chapters of my life story,

I feel like

I’m speaking

to a real-life messenger.

When I see your

strawberry cheesecake truffle eyes

pop out and squint,

it makes me

want to stuff my face

with white chocolate dipped strawberries.

When I hug you

with my caring arms

and shiny, smooth hands,

I automatically get

a free touch of

human softness.

Whether I’m here or not,

you’ll always be

my sugar plum.

I’ll always taste

a massive spoonful

of your sweetness.
