Sue's sidenote

..

By Harydo NeonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Now she's sitting at the corner of her room

Tired of waiting for when she escapes this cocoon

She's tired of a hope that the world promised

But she can't tell anyone, her friends mustn't be worried

She just wants to feel okay

Her mouth's tired after all the prayers she prayed

Dark patches around her eyes from tears and self-harm

Drugs to help her sleep and calm all triggering sounds

Pills on the floor, gun in hand

Tears falling, one last hope is what she need now

Hands trembling as she cries some more

Internally screaming with vocal cords getting sore

Exhausted from everyone she has ever met

Click and oh, the bullets weren't in yet

Phone lit up, notifications dancing through

Just her boss telling her she'd been fired

I guess the camel's back wasn't spared

Bullets in now , she has no time to loose

But before she goes, she says her last words

"Big guy , if you exist, I am coming home"

Gun to her head, second time on her temple

Boom goes the gun, alarm screams at a loud volume

surreal poetrysad poetry
