i've stumbled on the keys

for weeks now

looking for some sort of sign

that it was okay for me to take the leap

i thought i missed it until

i squinted my eyes

and found confidence

between the lines

enough so i could let my finger

tentatively fall

onto the button

and into whatever awaited me

at the bottom

I felt the same when I first submitted to a challenge. Great approach to this challenge!

I know that feeling of the tentative fall of the finger onto the keyboard. Nicely done!

Love the sense of building courage as the poem continues. Great read.
