Stuck on Romeo
Hypnotized by a person whose vocabulary exists in his Eyes...
I feel away...
Reminiscing
On seeing the bigger
Picture...
However, Looking at the reality of the situation.
So I catch your glimpse,
And you didn't blink.
Although the way you gazed,
Made me brood,
In Considering the Unattainable...
He didn't maintain to speak because I read his expressions...
It was a Stone furrow.
I shattered and lived absoluteness
In his Sanity...
In the morning he smelled my awakening
Reinvigorated as an Apple...
Luring for the gloss of Candy Red,
Abutting moments with me were the Best Thing!
He deferred for my soft-spoken voice, To enchant something beautiful...
I did and it felt like Paradise.
I flowed inside his reality masquerade.
His eyes told me that I had the power to touch his pride...
He kissed me a thousand goodbyes, and
vacuity took me for a ride...

My New Book is Finally Here
My poetry collection Beautiful and Brutal Things is done. It's actually done and finally published over 270 pages. Over a year of my life went into this book. More than a year, really. Long days at my computer, sometimes seven days a week because I couldn't stop even when I probably should have. Then two months of editing that felt harder than the writing itself. But it's finished, and I'm still standing, and the book is real.

Yes, I have definitely communicated with someone through eye contact. Your poems are so emotionally charged and well-worded. Even the subtitle is fire: "Hypnotized by a person whose vocabulary exists in his Eyes"...that should have been my line...LOL!
