I am sorry that I still am stuck,
in here dragging down.
Like a snake wandering around.
The earth is dusty and messy,
I can feel the smell of dirt.
But my body does not hurt.
Strange, I know.
I am cold, but I do not shiver.
Drinking water from a pity river.
I am sorry that I still am stuck,
my emotions are being drawn.
Tomorrow, a new skin will be worn.
But will it fit, or just adorn?

Wow, this is powerful! It’s like a journey of self-reflection, where the struggle is real, but the change is coming. The imagery of shedding skin and not knowing if it’ll fit is just haunting in the best way. Definitely leaves you thinking.
Love it! Especially the last two lines!
