Struggle or Peace?

An abecedarian about love & contentment

As the dark dungeons await

By the light, carrying a bait

Coveted for a hidden treasure

Dreamers make their measure

Earnest for the flowers that bloom

Fighting for the fruits that loom

Getting ready, for a long race

Hiking in search of a trace

Indigo, the color of the prize

Kingship, a dream of such a size

Let’s go, says one, get the gain

Make a gesture, take some pain

No, said I, why the hustle

On what cost, why this bustle

Peaceful my life is, filled with love

Queen of mine, is to everything, above

Ranted by them, off I went

Saying bye to love, to lust I bent

To you is life, I used to say

Unknown to lust, was I one day

Vale of gold, is what now I crave

What I didn’t know, was what I gave

Xulu, my love in heaven, I’m sorry

Zenith, no, I know, Nadir is a glory
