Storms Of Goodbye

Bittersweet Sensations

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

The feeling came late, like weeds through the concrete

The smell of the rain rose, like mist, in the air

The deafening sound, like soldiers marching feet

The sight of the storm was beyond compare

The bittersweet taste of your lips as you kissed me, softened the blow, the day you set me free
