The wind was an axe

And the dust was its blade,

Even the trees bent half

Could not stop their swing;

They came with a will

To make us bleed,

They came in a flood

And we are just twigs.

The storm was a loner

In this dry bone city,

The storm was a stranger

But I asked her still;

Did you come from the deep

Where the clouds swell black?

Did the sea in the west

Send you flying forth?

How did you cross

The great wall in the South?

Did they not stop you,

The green watchers on the wall?

Where will you go now

That your hands are bloody?
