Stop the Wars of Man-Made Hate
We just want peace please

Stop the Wars of Man-Made Hate
Stop the wars
not just the ones with tanks and boots
but the quiet ones
fought in boardrooms
under polished lights
where no one bleeds
but everyone pays
Stop the wars dressed in speeches
the ones that wear suits
kiss babies
and smile for the news
while somewhere a child
clutches a photograph
like it’s a lifeline
You call it honour
but who does it serve
when the ones who fall
are never the ones
who gave the order
This is not freedom
it is theatre
and the stage is red
with names we’ll never hear
Stop the wars of man-made hate
the kind they teach with flags
and feed with fear
where strangers become enemies
because someone, somewhere
needed more control
They say it’s for peace
but peace doesn’t come
with airstrikes
or silence
or standing ovations
Peace does not need parades
it needs truth
and truth
is a graveyard
full of boys who didn’t come home
and girls who never got to live
and mothers who still wait
at windows
long after the world moved on
Stop the wars
all of them
the loud, the quiet
the visible, the hidden
stop pretending it’s noble
when it’s just
man made murder of the innocent.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
