Stilling
Silence is infinite.

Stilling between stretches of then and soon
I stand in the centre of the soundless eye.
Lost in immeasurable stretches to nowhere,
eclipsed by the deafening, infinite still.
Nothing can prepare me so instead I’m
coaxed into accepting that it now must all
end.
