Still Petals in the Breeze
A Meditative Poem on Presence and Peace

Breathe in—
the morning is soft,
and the light moves slow
through open hands
of green and gold.
Breathe out—
the earth exhales with you.
A hush settles,
not silence,
but stillness.
The petals do not rush to open.
They rest
in their becoming,
folded
in quiet faith.
Pause.
A drop of dew
slides down a slender stem—
no urgency,
no sound—
only the glide,
the glint,
the letting go.
Breathe in.
Let it settle.
Let it stay.
The air is fragrant,
cool at the edge of breath.
You are here.
Rest.
Sun filters through leaves—
a gentle pattern
on skin,
on time,
on memory.
Breathe out.
The world doesn’t need your answer.
Only your presence.
Still.
Let the moment unfold.
Let it be enough.
