Slipping Into Love
All I Need Is You

Dear Anonymous,
I Wish I Was In Love,
Feeling The Touch Of Your Hand,
Caress The Intersect
To Where My Heart,
Holds The Most Love…
I Stand Inquisitive,
Something Peculiar Overwhelms My Soul,
As My Exterior Boulders
Crash Aside, And My Interior
Floats In A Pool Of Vulnerability…
Empty In The Twilight,
Desolate Echos Of
Your Baritone, Reverberate
In My Mind…
Every Time I Drift Into Your Gaze,
I See The Sunrise In Your Facade…
I Wish That I Was In Love
So That I’d Claim Someone As Mine…
Someone To Share A Fairytale Life Would
Be Destined.
Smother Me With Your Affection,
Kiss Me With Lips Soft As Rose Petals…
Take Me Into Your Arms,
Grasp Me Inside Your Embrace…
Together We’d Fly High Up Above,
Inside The Wings Of Love…
I Wish I Was In Love
Sharing Sacred Elations
From A Greeting, And
Sweet Dreams Under The Night Sky…
Some Times It’s Hard To Keep A Grip
On Reality,
When Your Slipping Into Love…

Wonderful poem about love and longing. Reminds me of what could be if there ever was that opportunity.
I wish you were too, & that it might be requited that you might rejoice in your misery rather than simply wallow in it. (Yeah, I like the movie "Love Actually", especially where the young lad says to his stepfather who thinks it's wonderful he's in love, "Why would you say that? It's awful!")
