It was like the chilling prelude of autumn before the blizzard storm,

The striving, the constant woes, the thoughts of what could be,

And the fear of how it would all go wrong.

It was that constant stressing, that brought the chill down my spine,

The fear of what could be, rather than the confident assurance of what would be.

Life, can be a constant tossing to and fro upon the ship that carries us forward,

And the fear of what could be hinders what would inevitably take place, if it were pursued.

Though the days seem dark and dismal,

Though the heavens lingered with a stormy veil,

Fear, should not be a hindrance to what could be,

But faith, should be the motivation, the confidence,

To push forward and strive for what we know, will be.
