To search and find, all that's on your mind, to satisfy, but never have enough.

What a burden on the human heart.

By Jordan ZunigaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

That which was, lingered for a moment.

That which is, will inevitably fade into dust,

And that which will be, is a constant chasing and seeking,

To obtain, but never to satisfy,

To receive, but never have enough.

A constant vexation in our pursuits,

An annoyance to our very conscience,

A hindrance towards our mobility,

A meaningless pursuit, incapable of satisfying the desires

of the heart,

Silver comes, gold then goes,

Rubies are brought from the depths of the earth,

And are constantly shared and traded back and forward,

Seasons come, seasons go, time relentlessly ticks on regardless,

How terrible it is for the human heart!

To constantly search and seek and find,

But to never have enough!
