You were gone.

Again.

It wasn’t the first time

Because you left me once

And twice

Then thrice

And I had enough

So I erased you completely

I forced my mind to forget the memories of you

Until that time when you came back

I could not recognize you anymore

You were familiar, yet a stranger

And when you left again because you didn’t want to stay

Even if I said I forgot you and erased you from my heart

I still remembered who you are

I remembered us

At that moment, I felt my heart break

A tear fell down my cheeks

And I hated myself for being so weak

Loving you despite you hurting me

And I wished for once,

That you’d

Stay.
