Starlight Starbright
where wishes go to retire
As I sit here
in the dark
staring at the stars
celestial witnesses
secret keepers
lumen listeners
confession hearers
wish holders
I wonder if
you glanced up and
saw the same stars and
thought of me
probably not
but it's nice to
think that there's
a remote chance
that you might have
and I think about
everything I've
told them and
I think about
how glad I am
that they
don't talk.
