Stardust Spun
Part of my "You, Humans" Series

From the city's screams, to country's gentle sigh,
A woman finds herself under the twilight sky,
In the field at sunset, where shadows lie,
She looks up to the stars, a mystery to untie.
~~~
Earth and sky converge, day meets the night,
The vibrancy of stars, a breathtaking sight,
She marvels at the cosmos, bathed in silver light,
A connection through eons, in her heart takes flight.
~~~
Her spirit echoes with the primordial hum,
Of ancient women under the same stars, their whispers strum,
Seeking meaning, reading fates, their songs unsung,
In the dance of celestial lights, their hearts thrum.
~~~
She stands on the precipice of time, looking afar,
With witches of old, and women in silver rockets far,
Touching the stars, breaking the barriers that mar,
A bridge through the cosmos, a shared stellar altar.
~~~
Beyond time, beyond space, with beings unknown,
She shares a moment under the cosmic dome,
Marvelling at the stars, a connection is grown,
To the end of Starlight Age, and beyond dreams sown.
~~~
In the field at twilight, under the setting sun,
She is not just a woman, but a part of the celestial run,
At one with the cosmos, her spirit, the stars have won,
She, the stardust, and the universe, spun as one.
About the Creator
Iris Obscura
Do I come across as crass?
Do you find me base?
Or an effed-up idiot savant spewing nonsense, like... *beep*
Is this even funny?
I suppose not. But, then again, why not?
