STARBURST

Bursting forth into existence
an explosion of energy and light,
forcing darkness to far corners
where shadows hide from sight.
Spreading out to worlds once cold
that life might find a way,
becoming special in it's own right
as different as night and day.

Shining forth from deepest space
across an endless void,
a guide for those who travel
with dreams not easily destroyed.
Pushing towards unknown dimensions
where matter is a state of mind,
determined by thoughts and emotions
often vague or undefined.

Bringing perspective into light
like the nature of beauty and truth,
never before thought important
in the early days of youth.
Being surrounded by darkness
when hope was needed most,
feeling lost and all alone
unseen like a wandering ghost.

Seeking direction to further learn
what lies beyond the abyss,
waiting in silent anticipation
