I hear you whisper timidly,
as if no one is in the room.
With a tone so soft and sparkling
it is a wonder why you stay so hush.
What secrets do you hold within
that chill and minty complexion
glowing under the moonlight
lost in your own mumblings.
You may think no one has heard
you, but I have tuned my ear.
I've heard the ocean's song
being hummed from your mouth.
and the sound of sea foam
release as you exhale.
If you chose to share your
precious stories would you
entrust them to me?
Is trust even a word you know?
Or just some foreign entity?
Or did they drain you of every drop
the way they did with me?
