Spring Is Meant for Planting

How my garden does grow and here I am ranting!

Wake early

and surely

I will be sorry

and I will be tired clearly.

~

At the end of the day mercy

be mine. I am not burley

no mam, and I am not girly

and not curly.

~

I am not cowardly

or slippery

or blurry.

~

I am elderly

and worthy

never dastardly

or in a hurry.

~

I am not thirty

rather I am on a journey

almost yearly

to find a nursery

to spend my salary

well nearly

all, without robbery.

~

On the outlook for a special peony.

I dearly

want those dirty

and thirsty

and utterly

beautiful flowers!

Caring and wanting flowers helps to relieve stress even over money spent for them.

  • Lol, spending tour salary without robbery. Loved your beautiful poem!
