Spring cleaning

acrostic essay

Springtime

preparing to clean everything around the house

regardless if it needs it or not

including and

notwithstanding the areas that smell, but will

gain a new scent somehow.

Cleaning the

low and the high spots of the house

eliciting a sense of accomplishment and

allowing oneself to feel this

noteworthy aspect to living that

includes some

nasty aspects that were not expected when one started to

give one's house a thorough going over from top to bottom.

A lovely nod to this simple but meaningful tradition.

Great work, Mark! I always hated the regimen and regimented feeling of spring cleaning although it always feels better when the house is cleaned up, spruced up and neat.
