I said a prayer
for you
again tonight
just like I do
every night
I close my eyes
and envision
Jesus telling
the disciples how
He prayed
and He always
started His prayers
with " Our Father
Hallowed be thy name"
and so I start
the same way
He did
and then I offer
my prayer up for you
Prayer is powerful
we are spiritual
beings with bodies
He knows all that
we are, do and think
He already knows
what's on
my heart
and mind
He just wants
to hear me
speak it.
