“You’re the ultimate spin doctor”…

Just like a politician,

you are the ultimate spin doctor,

MUST protect oneself

(AKA your fragile ego)

at all costs,

There’s little empathy,

Like George Constanza,

it doesn’t matter how many old ladies

you knock over to get to the fire exit,

to allegedly protect them -

“Right-i-o!”, I say.

We see through you,

your lies won’t fly here,

You’re just a broken record -

“Next track please!”

Your ego may feel fatter than a balloon,

but to me you are all gassed out!

-2024

George Costanza in action, listen to him plead his case after - very funny!

Wow this is amazing, I love the way you approached it. It’s like putting a mirror to the face, showing the real reason behind what seemed like a kind gesture. Very thought provoking and groovy.

So many silver tongued excuses out there! Great poem, Grz!

  • Outstanding Grz. The poem in itself speaks volumes on the human condition for survival. We will do almost anything to survive. Great clip from Seinfeld - one of the great shows of all-time!!!

Excellent poetry! George was a character, lol. Unfortunately we all experienced bumping into others in our flight in trying to be safe, our human nature to try survive sometimes kicks in unconsciously

Ah, the days of Seinfeld, Elaine, George, Jerry et al. The poem so easily reflects the situation. You captured it brilliantly. Kafkaesque does not necessarily have to be about oneself...George was totally Kafkaesque in his behavior. Funny and terrible at the same time. Hope you had fun with it, I think you did. HA!

  • "How do you live with yourself?" "It's not easy" Hahahahhahahahahaha that made me laugh so much! Gosh he's such a Narcissistic delusional gaslighter! I loved your poem!

What D.J. said. So funny. And many great moments from Seinfeld! "No soup for you!" "A Festivus for the rest of us!" "Serenity now!" to name a couple of faves. And don't get me started on Kramer!
