A cry for help, to the only one who can save; meant to be read like a Psalm.
Speak to me, Oh God!
Silence my worries and let me listen to you
Stop my hands, fix my feet and make me be still
Please make bountiful my search for you!
Calm my heart's beat and match it to your will
Let me lean on you in every season,
Guide me through every valley and over every hill
Let me love for your reason!
Quiet my adversaries, for they speak nothing but trouble
It's your voice I wish to hear, Oh God!
Remove them from my path, for their faces are doubled
Let your voice portray your ways, Oh God!
Light the road which I walk
You guide me through destruction and its rubble
For the snares of my enemy will not succeed!
I'm am here not because I am lucky, but because you love me
Speak to me, Oh God!
Command my steps that my walk may talk of your will
Speak to me, Oh God!
My ears listen for your voice only, Oh Lord!
Speak to me, Oh God!

This is beautiful! I sang in church choir as a soprano in traditional services for 6 years or so. I can see this as something we would sing. Great work and words I needed 😌🙏
